Marriage was to be the lot of almost every woman in my era, whether we were looking for something else or not.
Few women pursued a career and if they did it was expected they would give up their job as soon as they had children.
For me, I was looking for something more than a quiet married existence. I was not particularly feminist but I was more aligned with the spirit of female independence.
Money? Marriage? Children? Home? I wanted all of these.
But deep down, I was searching for something else, something more.
I had this feeling that our time is short, shorter than we ever know, and I wanted mine to be meaningful. And purposeful. And creative. And impactful. Above all, different. I wanted to leave a mark on the world.
After reading so many books in personal growth, I realised that what makes life worth living is to enjoy life, to have fun.
There is a kind of energetic clarity at that moment. I wanted that, whatever that was, to be my life, my daily life.
Many times I daydreamed about becoming a teacher, a nurse, a bookkeeper, a proficient bilingual translator, an excellent copywriter. But the ultimate dream was to discover the highest service I could offer to the whole.
I asked myself: What if there was a way, to achieve my higher purpose while having fun all the time instead of working? Or else to enjoy work so much that it becomes practically the same thing.
The world, sadly, is tormented with pain and misery; the daily drudgery is strenuous and often biased.
Maybe I could contribute, I thought, to find some remarkable,
We often hear that life is a game. Whoever denies that truth, refuses to play, and often gets left on the sidelines. I didn’t want that. I wanted to make a difference.
I thought, just maybe, I find a way to do something that is fulfilling to me but at the same time offers great value to others who can benefit just as much.
The Path of Discovery
I tried different ways to discover my path, I worked in different jobs and started a couple of business ventures.
I didn’t succeed in any because my heart wasn’t in any of them, but what I learned from those experiences was that I needed to get myself into my greatest state of self-awareness, particularly, if I wanted to become a better person and a successful entrepreneur.
In reading different philosophies, I learned the concept of kensho or satori – sudden enlightenment and a state of consciousness attained by intuitive illumination representing the spiritual goal of Zen Buddhism. Who wouldn’t like to experience that? That would be awesome.
I also learned that if we want to change our whole approach, we need to stop being a ‘linear thinker.’ According to Zen, linear thinking is nothing but a delusion, one of the many that keep us unhappy. Zen says. No future, no past. All is NOW.
In every belief, it seems to be that
I needed to find my flow in life to allow me to work towards the path of least resistance.
It All Starts With A Mission
When I started my early business adventures, my mission was nothing more than how much money I could make, in other words, it was all about me. Self was my obstacle, my adversary.
I knew deep down that I was going in the wrong direction and that to attain success; I needed to seek out experts who could effectively and efficiently teach me fundamental principles.
I decided to transform myself so that I could experience personal inner growth and I started to evaluate my habitual patterns.
I always knew that I desired to help others realise their full potential. I wanted to increase my value to society, empower them and be an inspiration to others; this became my Mission.
Choosing The Plan Of Action
Today’s news is filled with doom about the economy and alarming predictions about a permanent downsizing of traditional jobs.
To me, this is the time to talk about improving the quality of people’s lives and building wealth.
Of course, when it comes to improving your life and wealth building, it always begins with a choice.
Measuring wealth involves working towards certain fundamental principles.
Deep down we sense that wealth includes not only what we earn, but contains the passion of our relationships and the choices we make and how we work with those choices.
How Do We Begin To Build Wealth?
For me, it started by investing in myself – recognising that I could use help in the form of knowledge – and committing to the process of educating myself.
I discovered that time (a key ingredient for getting anything done) was essential to building wealth and that I had to become better at managing money and spend it wisely.
I am also learning that personal inner growth, examining my belief system and cultivating beneficial relationships is all connected with building wealth.
“You Cannot Travel The Path Until You Have Become The Path Yourself” – Buddha.
My mission is to help others who are in a similar situation to mine. Those like me are in the process of unlocking our higher purpose and achieving financial freedom.
We want to make a contribution to solving people’s problems and one effective way to do is to build an online business.
I chose the digital world because the internet has changed our lives; the way we communicate, do shopping, learn and research things, it has become a part of our daily living.
Experts tell us that there are vast opportunities that exist out there because of this digital technology we are living. For many, it represents freedom, and that is something that attracted me to this opportunity.
If you like the idea of this opportunity, dare to step out of the status quo and want to create a life on your own terms, then you are ready to start your digital education.
All you need is a working computer, a decent Internet connection and the commitment to achieving your goals.
