For years I have been reading many personal development books. Thanks to those books I have learned great positive-thinking techniques. However, my past efforts to make any lasting change in my life – physical, emotional and spiritual – have fallen short of the ideal of myself that I imagined.
I found Dr. Joe Dispenza, author of Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself – How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One, on YouTube.
Dr Dispenza is a renowned author, speaker, researcher, and chiropractor who combines the fields of quantum physics, neuroscience, brain chemistry, biology, and genetics. He featured in the award-winning film What the Bleep Do We Know and has been educating people about the functions of the human brain.
I happened to choose a video where he was talking about helping people who overcame significant health conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis. Sadly, one of my sons has this disease, so I started to pay close attention to what he had to say.
In Breaking The Habit of Being Yourself book, Dr Dispenza is doing a fantastic job in bringing together new scientific methods in simple and easy to understand ways on how to make a personal transformation.
Dr Dispenza has a powerful and compelling message. To help me understand his theory better, I decided to take passages from his book to reinforce the concepts better and apply them in my life. I hope you also find them interesting.
Change Your Beliefs about the Nature of Reality
Until we break from the way we see our present reality, any change in our life will always be disorderly and unstable. You have to recondition your thinking to produce enduring and desired outcomes. To do that, you will need to be open to a new interpretation of what is real and true.
We have to let go of beliefs that have been programmed into us for many years on a conscious and subconscious level to experience some fundamental shifts.
It sounds easy but much of what we have learned and experienced is into our biological ‘self’, and we wear it like a garment. But we also know that what is true today might not be true tomorrow.
We also know that it takes effort and it is very uncomfortable to change. Not only that, ridicule, marginalization, opposition, and denigration from those who cling to what they think they know greet us along the way. Will you dare to confront those challenges?
It seems that human nature is such that we resist change until things get so bad and we are so uncomfortable that we can no longer go on with business as usual. We wait for crisis, trauma, loss, disease and tragedy before we get down to looking at who we are, and what we believe or know, to embrace real change.
Why wait? We can learn and change in a state of pain and suffering, or we can evolve in a state of joy and inspiration. Most embrace the former. To go with the latter, we have to make up our minds that change will probably entail a bit of discomfort, some inconvenience, a break from the predictable routine, and a period of not knowing.
Why has change been so difficult for so many?
To many people, the mind appears to have little or no measurable effect on the world of matter. However, the world of matter creates consequences affecting our minds.
Humanity believed that the nature of the universe was orderly, and thus predictable and explainable until Albert Einstein demonstrated that energy and matter are so fundamentally related that they are one and the same. Matter and energy are entirely interchangeable.
Quantum Physics, a New Field of Science
The most fundamental components of our so-called physical world are both waves (energy) and particles (physical matter), depending on the mind of the observer.
Before quantum physics came along, people believed that an atom was made of a relatively solid nucleus with smaller, less substantial objects either located in our around it.
The truth as revealed by the quantum model states that atoms are mostly empty space; atoms are energy. An atom is 99.99999 per cent energy and .00001 per cent physical substance.
Everything physical in your life is not solid matter – rather, it is all field of energy or frequency patterns of information. All physical reality is primarily energy existing in a vast web that is interconnected across space and time. What animates the body is a form of energy.
We are part of a vast, invisible field of energy, which contains all possible realities and responds to our thoughts and feelings, this means that the quantum field contains a reality in which you are healthy, wealthy, happy, and possess all of the qualities and capabilities of the idealised self that you hold in your thoughts. It already exists as a possibility in the quantum field, waiting to be observed by you.
We are connected to everything in the Quantum Field
Quantum physics states that where you direct your attention is where you place your energy.
Quantum field is an invisible intelligence, it is invisible potential energy that can organise itself from energy to subatomic particles to atoms to molecules, and on up the line to everything.
From a physiological perspective, it organises molecules into cells into tissues into organs into systems, and finally into the body as a whole. This potential energy lowers itself as a frequency of wave patterns until it appears as solid.
This universal intelligence possesses the same awareness that makes us individuals – consciousness or mindfulness. Even though this power is universal and objective, it does possess a consciousness – an awareness and its own ability to move and act within the material universe.
This consciousness notices everything, it observes and pays attention to us. It is aware of our thoughts, our dreams, our behaviours, and our desires. It ‘observes’ everything into physical form.
How do we connect to that state of consciousness?
In the quantum model of reality, everything is intercommunicating within a higher-dimensional field of information that is holistically entangled beyond space and time as we know it.
In the process of creating future reality via the quantum model, our senses should be the last to experience what the mind has created.
We are connected to a sea of information in a dimension beyond physical space and time. We don’t need to be touching or even in close proximity to any physical elements in the quantum field to affect or be affected by them.
When we have negative emotion (such as anger and fear), our heart rhythms become erratic and disorganised. In contrast, positive emotions (love and joy) produce highly ordered, coherent patterns that HeartMath researchers refer to as heart coherence.
However, the quantum field doesn’t respond simply to our wishes – our emotional requests. It doesn’t just respond to our aims – our thoughts. It responds only when those two are aligned or coherent, that
The quantum field responds not to what we want, it responds to who are being. The thoughts we think send an electrical signal out into the field. The feelings we generate magnetically draw events back to us.
How we think and how we feel produces a state of being, which generates an electromagnetic signature that influences every atom in our world. This should prompt us to ask, What am I broadcasting (consciously or unconsciously) on a daily basis?
We all would like to make some change to our physical self, emotional self, or spiritual self, we all have the same desire: we want to live life as an idealized version of who we think and believe we can be.
If you could create a new electromagnetic field by changing your state of being, which matches that potential in the quantum field of information, is it possible that your body would be drawn to that event or that event would find you?
Quantum Creating Only Works When Your Thoughts and Feelings Are Aligned.
If we want to change some aspects of our reality, we have to think, feel, and act in new ways, we have to ‘be’ different in terms of our responses to experiences. We have to ‘become’ someone else. We have to create a new state of mind. We need to observe a new outcome with that new mind.
When you hold clear, focused thoughts about your purpose, accompanied by your passionate emotional engagement, you broadcast a stronger electromagnetic signal that pulls you toward a potential reality that matches what you want.
If your intentions and desires haven’t produced consistent results, you have probably been sending an incoherent, mixed message into the field. You might want wealth, you may think wealthy thoughts, but if you feel poor, you aren’t going to attract financial abundance to yourself. Why? Thoughts are the language of the brain, and feelings are the language of the body.
When mind and body are working together, when our thoughts and feelings are aligned, when we are in a new state of being, then we are sending a coherent signal on the airwaves of the invisible.
Become A Quantum Creator
Universal intelligence possesses the same awareness that makes us
Strive to create an unknown, new future experience by changing your internal environment – the way you think and feel – and then see how the external environment is altered by your efforts.
Hold a clear intention of what you want, but leave the ‘how’ details to the unpredictable quantum field. Surrender, trust, and let go of how the desired event will unfold. This is the biggest hurdle for most to overcome because we human beings always want to control a future reality (unknown) by trying to re-create how it occurred in a past fact (known)
The new model of reality challenges us, as quantum creators, to change something within us – in mind and body – in our thoughts and feelings – before we can experience the physical evidence with our senses.
To Change Some Events in the Future You Have To Let Go
To influence your reality, you have to completely let go of your external world in your future time; you have to let go of your outer world, you have to release your awareness of your body – you have to become pure consciousness.
Your brain has the innate ability to harness this skill. You are biologically equipped to do all of this, an enter a new reality beyond space and time.
Give Thanks Before Receiving an Outcome
To create a life of new joyful experiences and quantum surprises, you must align your thoughts and feelings to produce the result you want, and let go of how that event will come about. However, you also need to make another leap of faith to bring what you want into a reality.
Generally, we are grateful for something already happened or is already present in our lives. Such as being grateful for our family, the nice home we have, our friends, and our jobs.
In quantum creating, can you give thanks for something that exists as a potential in the quantum field but has not yet happened in your reality?
Each day, remind yourself to change to a new state of being. And after every mental creation, go about your daily living in the elevated mood of gratitude generated by having had that experience.
Don’t try to force and control the outcome of your possible destiny, instead allow the quantum field to orchestrate the events in ways that are right for you and get absorbed in the experience.
When you are in a state of gratitude, you transmit a signal into the field that an event has already occurred. You have to feel as though whatever you want is in your reality at this very moment. Thus, your body (which only understands feelings) must be convinced that it has the emotional quotient of the future experience, happening to you now.
When you are electromagnetically connected to an intended destiny that existed in the quantum, your body is drawn to the future events. The experience will find you. The outcome will come in a way that is not expected. It is all synchronistic, and there is no doubt that it was the results of your internal efforts.
