Cancer can be a frightening and stressful time from the moment the doctors diagnose this condition. There is fear of the unknown and concern about what is going to happen next. It is difficult to know what to say or how to approach the subject, especially if they are close to us, but what is important is that they know we are here to support and offer encouragement.
The doctors diagnosed breast cancer to one of my dearest friend in Mexico. From the moment I heard the news, I couldn’t believe it happened to her. She is one of the few persons I know who has the jolliest and positive outlook of life.
As I live in Australia, I didn’t hear the news directly from her; I had to take some time to process the situation and to cope with my emotions about the diagnosis before I contacted her.

Are you looking for a sure method to move you toward what you intuitively know is imaginable possible? Have you been looking for ways to manifest everything you desire with clear instructions?
For years I have been reading many personal development books. Thanks to those books I have learned great positive-thinking techniques. However, my past efforts to make any lasting change in my life – physical, emotional and spiritual – have fallen short of the ideal of myself that I imagined.
I found Dr. Joe Dispenza, author of Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself – How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One, on YouTube.
Dr Dispenza is a renowned author, speaker, researcher, and chiropractor who combines the fields of quantum physics, neuroscience, brain chemistry, biology, and genetics. He featured in the award-winning film What the Bleep Do We Know and has been educating people about the functions of the human brain.
I happened to choose a video where he was talking about helping people who overcame significant health conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis. Sadly, one of my sons has this disease, so I started to pay close attention to what he had to say.

Are you exciting about what Artificial Intelligence can do for humanity or are you concerned?
I just finished reading “The Innovators: How a Group of Hackers, Geniuses, and Geeks Created the Digital Revolution“ by Walter Isaacson. At the end of the book he talks in more detail about Artificial Intelligence which I found very interesting.
I like very much Isaacson writing style. I thoroughly enjoyed reading his exclusive biography of Steve Jobs. It gave me a real understanding of Job’s personality and achievements.
I enjoyed The Innovators book because it covers both the technology and the people behind the technology.
Isaacson manages to provide a good balance about the endless debates about who did what, when, where, who “borrowed” ideas from whom, and who deserves the amount of credit for different things.

Every year, on the 26 January Australia Day is a national public holiday, where thousands of families and friends gathered to bring the country together. It reflects the nation’s diversity of people in Australia’s history.
Australia’s major cities come together as a nation, and the City of Perth is one of those cities. I am fortunate to live close to the celebration zone at the Sir James Mitchell Park on the beautiful South Perth foreshore.
Families, youth and seniors from a wide range of demographics come from all over the city to the celebration zone to enjoy the free activities, rides, cultural group performances and entertainment for all ages. It is a smoke and alcohol-free with plenty of food to enjoy.
