Fear is the thief of dreams.”― Brian Krans
We are born with TWO fears:
- Fear of falling
- Fear of loud noises
As we grow up, we learn other fears from our parents, teachers, friends and families.
The majority of our society lives on fear, most of those fears are only perceived.
When you face your fears, understand fear for what it is, you can use that knowledge to take control of your life.
Embrace Your Fear
You’ve probably heard of Michael Jordan‘s story of getting cut from his high school basketball team. He wasn’t good enough to hold a roster spot with the varsity team.

Can you answer these three simple questions:
- Are you having a good day?
- If you are having a good day; Why are you having a good day?
- Tomorrow, would you rather have a good day, or would you rather have a bad day?
Gen Kelsang Nyema asked these easy questions in her TEDxGreenville 2014 Conference. Gen is an American Buddhist nun who believes the gift of happiness truly lies within our own hearts and minds.
She is a resident teacher in the New Kadampa Tradition, Gen Nyema aims to help seekers develop inner peace by offering meditation classes and practical Buddhist advice suitable for busy modern life.
Out of the three questions, Gen, said that the easiest one to answer, is the last because it is for sure that we all want to have a good day every day of our lives.
When we are happy, we have a good day, and this is the kind of happiness we wish for in our inner self.
Gen’s teacher, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, says: “Much of the time our mind is like a balloon in the wind, blown here and there by external circumstances.” Do you know that feeling?

Thoughts are mental energy; they’re the currency that you have to attract what you desire. Learn to stop spending that currency on thoughts you don’t want. – Dr Wayne Dyer
We have been living carrying limiting beliefs which have more of a negative impact on your life than any other factor.
These beliefs started from our childhood, the culture we grew up in, social environment, and from our own interpretation of the world around us.
When we have beliefs that are limiting, they are detrimental to the big dreams we have for our business and in all areas of our lives.
Sadly, the results of the negative beliefs we hold around money, affect our relation to it, our ability to generate it, and our worthiness to receive it.
To conquer them, we need to be aware of them. It takes consistent focusing on improving our money beliefs to a successful mindset, but it will open up the possibility of more money and better ways of relating to wealth.
At first, instead of recognising them, we tend to blame the circumstances that are around us, but it is our responsibility to take charge.
Our Money Beliefs And How It Affects Our Money Matters

“What is the recipe for successful achievement? To my mind there are just four essential ingredients: Choose a career you love, give it the best there is in you, seize your opportunities, and be a member of the team.” Benjamin Franklin Fairless
How many of us have been waiting for the right opportunity or waiting for the inspiration until the end of time?
Most of us, but what we are truly looking for is a sense of direction, an opportunity where we can take control of our lives, achieve our dreams, motivates us and set us on a course that will undoubtedly open more doors for us.

The body is very smart, it cannot tell the difference between a factual situation or an imagined thought.
Thoughts that activate emotional responses in the body may appear so quick that before the mind has had time to articulate them, the body has already delivered them with an emotion, and that emotion has turned into a reaction.
Have you ever had fearful or worrisome thoughts? Most of us have experienced them at some point. When we feel we are in ‘danger’, our heart beats fast, muscles contract, breathing becomes rapid. But the danger might be only mental fiction; we may be lying in a warm and comfortable bed at night.
To take total control of our mind, we need to recondition our body to a new mindset. We need to create a training routine for our brain so that body and mind work together.
In my previous post, Can You Use Your Mind to Create Your Reality? I shared how our brain is in regular communication with our body. The mind is continuously monitoring the way the body is feeling.
Therefore, if we focus on negative thinking, we create our unhappiness, but unhappiness is never the situation, it is only the way we think about it.
